Our first speaker will be Ariun Bayarjargal. Ariun is an Associate Lecturer at Research School of Economics. Her research areas are inequality, microeconomic analysis, and policy studies. She will talk about her research about the disproportionate impact of economic boom and bust on top income earners and will share her experience in developing a network as an ECA.

Our second speaker will be Barry Yau, a senior lecturer in the practical legal training program in the ANU College of Law. Barry will detail how he has reshaped the teaching-research nexus to connect with his students through blogging his research, before they embark on a career as lawyers. Barry’s blogging has had a positive impact on students as they grapple with perceptions of career success, ethics, wellbeing and work-life balance.
