Learning never stops - NECTAR's fortnighly research webinar series

Join NECTAR's fortnightly research webinar series, stay connected with ANU ECAs and learn some valuable skills along the way. At this week’s webinar, two Grand Challenge Research Fellows will be sharing their experiences of working in an interdisciplinary research program that looks at solving one of the world’s biggest challenges, the Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific Grand Challenge.

Our first speaker will be Reza Fazeli from the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Reza has been involved in several projects focusing on the transition to sustainable energy systems in Portugal, USA and Iceland before joining ANU in January 2020. He will talk about his prior experience and how they prepared him for the role as a Grand Challenge Research Fellow.

Our second speaker will be Wenting Cheng from the College of Law. Wenting worked as a junior researcher at a think tank in China for five years before completing her PhD at the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) at ANU. She will speak on ‘Global governance of clean technology dissemination’ and share her experience of extending research topics to areas beyond PhD and fostering supportive networks within academia. Come along and join the conversation!
