Our first speaker will be Kate Harriden from the Fenner School of Environment and Society. Kate is a Wiradyuri woman who long ago rejected the ‘career’ construct. That the learning never stops, however, is something she wholeheartedly embraces. In fact, for those committed to the career construct, learning could be considered her ‘career’.

Our second speaker will be Melde Van Ingelgom. In her interactive talk ‘Where will we live next year?’, Melde will relate her experiences as the partner of an ECA. Having moved countries twice to support her partner’s academic career, she will share some of the strategies she uses to build a life in a new country. She warmly invites partners of ECAs to attend this event and join the conversation.
