The Intelledox Digital Transformation Centre (IDTC) has released improvements to the Travel Approval eForm. Previously, a travel eForm remained in the post-travel step indefinitely after the applicant has returned from travel. This resulted in a large number of travel eForms accumulating in this step. New functionality has been implemented that will now automatically progress the travel eForm past the post-travel step if left unattended for more than 21 days beyond the travel return date. This brings the travel eForm in line with the current travel policy. All of the older travel eForms still in post-travel step are being systematically closed down.
The IDTC is also working on improving integration with the RSS feed from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). This will improve the fidelity and accuracy of risk ratings, allowing travellers and approvers to make more informed decisions.
If you have any questions or feedback regarding the Travel eForm, please contact the Travel Approval Support Team.
With a commitment to continuous improvement, the IDTC is currently undertaking an email audit with a view of understanding emails and reminders sent to eForms users. The intention is to reduce email load and to improve user experience. To further enhance user experience, an accessibility analysis is currently being undertaken to provide a more inclusive experience for a wider range of users. This will be achieved by implementing website design changes to ensure improved compliance with accessibility standards.
