Figtree User Familiarisation Sessions Begin

13 April 2017

Work is underway in partnership with Colleges and Service Divisions to help transition to the University’s new workplace safety incident and hazard reporting tool – Figtree.  In anticipation of a launch date of 1 July 2017, high level presentations have been delivered by WHS Consultants at College Executive Meetings and will be finalised over the coming weeks. These face-to-face meetings have been well received to date and we encourage any questions to be sent to selfinsurance@anu.edu.au

Planning is in place for User Familiarisation Sessions to be held at the Chifley Library Flex Lab in early May with sessions to be scheduled via HORUS. These sessions provide a hands on opportunity for users to experience the systems directly. Additional User Familiarisation Sessions will be coordinated in late May for staff members in local areas who will be more frequent users of the system, including the requirement to investigate incidents in their local area.

Face-to-face training will occur in May/June and registration links will be available on the workplace safety incident and hazard reporting tool webpage once confirmed. Pulse module training will also be made available to staff on an ongoing basis from early June.

We encourage staff to read though the Frequently Asked Questions which have been published online and share them during your discussions in upcoming team and area meetings. A one page Figtree information sheet has also been created and we request that you affix it to appropriate noticeboards in your area and distribute it amongst your team members.

Enquires relating to the new workplace safety incident and hazard reporting tool are encouraged via a direct email to selfinsurance@anu.edu.au
