Enhancing ANU gateway websites

13 August 2014

The ANU Gateway project aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of gateway content by creating a web environment that delivers a consistent experience for both website audiences and website managers.

The focus of the project is to move the current gateway content into a single Content Management System (Drupal) to deliver web support services to make it easy for business areas to manage their website. Common architecture and navigation will also improve the experience of visitors and provide more meaningful search results.

The project will have two release dates:

Release 1, November 2014, a new gateway site. The first release of the project will deliver a new gateway site that merges the current disparate collection of separate sites into a single-site solution.

Release 2, April 2015, Service Division web content and includes a revision of the Staff section of the gateway.
