ANU is committed to equity and diversity as fundamental values for our community, by providing opportunities for an inclusive and welcoming environment. Education and collaboration within our community, in the area of disability, is an important first step in improving understanding.
In recognition of International Day of People with a Disability and National Carers’ Week, the ANU is hosting a Disability & Carers’ Market Day Expo to promote local organisations offering services and support for people with a disability and their carers. Staff and students are all welcome and encouraged to participate in the morning event on Wednesday 18 October 2017.

Piano and vocal performance by Lani Wagner
"Lani is a passionate and inspiring vocalist. Currently, her time is spent perfecting her talent at ANU School of Music, and honing her art as a singing teacher, songwriter and performer. Among the many students she has worked with, one of the most rewarding experiences was with a teenager with down-syndrome. Lani had the opportunity to develop, inspire and encourage the teenagers confidence, ability and overall love of singing."
