Animal Ethics Seminar (ANML40)

PLEASE NOTE: All seminars will continue on Zoom in 2021. Register in HORUS. You will then be sent the link for the Zoom webinar. You need to attend the Zoom webinar and then complete a quiz and additional modules in Wattle.

Refresher Session:

Wednesday 5th May 2021 (combined wildlife + biomedical)

Refresher sessions are available for researchers who have completed training in the past, but not within the past 5 years. Refresher sessions will be more targeted: not all basics will not be covered, and instead the changes (e.g., to legislation and policies) will be emphasised. Refresher sessions are not open to new students.

ANML40 is the Animal Ethics Seminar for wildlife researchers. This training seminar is mandatory for ALL personnel involved in work with research animals. This course is a co-requisite for all ANU Animal Handling courses.

Training must be completed before commencing work with animals. Principal Investigators are responsible for providing the AEEC with details on the training and experience of all staff and students working with animals under their approved protocols.

Face-to-face seminar plus online notes and assessment.
