On your Wattle course page, click Participants in the navigation drawer on the left. This gives you a list of users enrolled in the course.
To select participants:
All participants: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Select All.
Individuals: Use the search function (name or UID) at the top of the page or select people individually from the table.
A group or people with specific roles: Use the drop down function in the search bar at the top of the page to filter people by group or role. Once the page loads with the list of people you filtered by, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Select All.
After you have selected your participants, at the bottom of the page, click on the With selected users… dropdown menu. Choose Send a Message.
A pop-up will appear on your screen where you can write your message. Click Send message to X people when you are ready to send the message. Participants will automatically receive an email. Alternatively, they can also access the message via Wattle.
To check your messages, click on your Name or Profile Picture in the top right corner. And in the dropdown menu, select Messages. All outgoing and incoming messages will be available on this page.
