Reporting Infrastructure Faults and Repairs

Building Custodian

Each building at the ANU has a building custodian who is your point of contact for any required maintenance (faults/breakages/repairs).  This is in relation to both Hard FM (building infrastructure) and Soft FM (building access, keys, whiteboards GPOs etc).  

The Building Custodian will:

  1. Report all maintenance requests and liaise with the Schedulers in the Facilities and Services Division to ensure that maintenance is carried out to an agreed standard.
  2. Act as first point of contact / responsible person for all notifications from the Facilities & Services Division supporting planned or reactive project & maintenance works in line with custodian’s building

The Building Custodian will log a job on your behalf through Maximo and keep you abreast of progress as required.

Kim Szerdahelyi, who is the Executive Assistant to the Director and CIO, is the Building Custodian for ITS.  If you are unsure who the Building Custodian is in your building, Kim will be able to advise.
