ANYOU Survey

Complete the survey by clicking the 'Access Survey' button at right, then enter your uID number (without the u) when prompted for a Kiosk Code.

We want ANU to be one of the best places to work. We are committed to a positive, inclusive and collegial workplace culture - a key part of our 2025 strategic plan.

One way to measure our culture is through an engagement survey. Staff satisfaction is important to us and it’s good to know what we are currently doing well and where we need improvement. The ANYOU survey is our engagement survey of all staff across ANU.

The survey provider is Culture Amp, a web-based analytics platform. More information about Culture Amp is available through their website.

Why an engagement survey?

Higher employee engagement is associated with happier and healthier staff.

The ANYOU Survey will allow us to:

  • Measure current staff engagement and identify drivers for improvement
  • Give staff a voice to provide confidential feedback directly to the organisation
  • Establish a baseline and identify areas to drive improved staff experience across the University
  • Take meaningful action

Have your say

This is a great opportunity to have your say and contribute to your future ANU. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and your individual response will be confidential.

You will receive a link to log in and complete the survey in the all staff newsletter, On Campus. You can also access the survey via the QR code featured on posters and screens around the University.

Confidentiality

Appropriate steps have been taken to ensure that individual respondents cannot be identified in reporting (eg qualitative responses will be de-identified where necessary, no quantitative reporting will be available for sample sizes of less than 10 people).

Staff data (including name, UID number and email address) is used to provide individual access to the Culture Amp platform for the duration of its use by the University. This data is uploaded by staff in the People & Culture Division, and individuals can request that their data be deleted at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Please see our FAQs page, for further information about the survey including data security.

Other staff surveys

The online platform being used for ANYOU, Culture Amp, also features a range of other surveys, including inclusion, wellbeing, onboarding and exit surveys. It also provides access to resources which support leaders to take action in response to survey feedback. The University is planning to make use of these additional features in future.

Review Process

We will communicate with you regularly, share the aggregated data (in April), and work with areas across campus to create action plans based of the results of the survey. Through these improvements we will work together to make ANU the best place to work.

Thanks for taking the time to participate in the survey.
