The ANU commemorates a number of important national and international events each year with the aim of celebrating the diversity of our university community and raising awareness and understanding of different diversity issues.

Recognising that in the Australian community there are many other multicultural and religious dates of importance, a complete list of these can now be found on the Calendar of Cultural and Religious Dates published by the Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs.

We encourage local areas to plan their own annual diversity related initiatives as a way of promoting inclusion and raising awareness. If you would like to highlight local area activities or contribute to University-wide events, please email staffdiversity@anu.edu.au.
