ANU is committed to becoming an inclusive university that promotes and encourages all staff to achieve their full potential. There are a number of internal programs and resources available to help ANU staff and students.
These slides (see 'reference documents' in the right column) are tailored for staff from either Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM), or from Humanities, Arts and Social Science (HASS) disciplines. There is also a set of slides for ANU Professional staff.
There are also a number of external resources available to inform the development of evidence-based diversity and inclusion initiatives. SAGE has developed a number of Australian focused resources for Athena SWAN Charter members. The Equality Challenge Unit, who originally developed the Athena SWAN Charter also have a number of useful resources for developing a diverse and inclusive workplace. Finally the Workplace Gender Equality Agency have research and factsheets focused on workplace gender equality.
