ANU RESEARCH DIGEST - MARCH 2016
A message from the Pro Vice-Chancellor
(Research & Research Training)
Professor Jenny Corbett

We have an exciting new opportunity for PhD students working in social sciences and kindred humanities disciplines to go to Yale University for the academic year from October 2016.  Apply by March 15th.   Details are at Fox Fellowship.   Interested students and supervisor should contact Peter Francis peter.francis@anu.edu.au  right away.  Last newsletter we congratulated ANU students who won Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships.   Have you considered applying for these prestigious awards?  Applications open May 1st so start planning now.  Further details  (Fulbright Scholarship).

One great way to enhance your visibility and impact, and improve your CV, is to use an ORCID number.  The Australian ORCID Consortium (ORCID) was officially launched at ANU last week. ORCID gives academics, including research students, have a single ID for publishing purposes.  This means all your research outputs can be identified as yours. The library will be running information sessions soon.
