ANU Education Grants: FAQs

What funds are available in the ANU Education Grants and Fellowships rounds?

  • ANU Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Enhancement Grants: up to $10,000 each
  • ANU Linkage for Learning and Teaching Grants: up to $20,000 each

What is the closing date for applications?

There are generally two rounds of grants funding each year, however not all grants are offered in each round. See the respective Grants pages for all relevant dates. ANUTEG  ANULLTG

Do I need to get my application endorsed before submitting it to the Promoting Excellence team?

All applications require the endorsement of your Head of School/Centre, and also your College Associate Dean (Education) or an equivalent person in a Division. Please allow enough time to get these endorsements when preparing your application.

What do I do at the end of the grant funding period?

All grants and fellowships recipients are required to submit a final report and an acquittal of funds to the Promoting Excellence team on completion of their grant. Report templates may be downloaded from the Documents panel on the grants pages ANUTEG  ANULLTG 

Is there a limit on the number of grant applications submitted per College in each round?

  • ANU Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Enhancement Grants: unlimited. Your College Teaching and Learning Office must be advised of your application prior to submitting.
  • ANU Linkage for Learning and Teaching Grants: two applications per College.These should be coordinated by the College Teaching and Learning Office.

Who assesses the applications?

The ANU Education Grants Committee assesses all applications.
