What is Programs and Engagement?
The Programs and Engagement Office incorporates several key functions of the Service Improvement Group (SIG), including Program Management, Communications, UniForum benchmarking, University Services Feedback, and Secretariat services.
University services feedback
In early 2018, the SIG introduced the University Services Feedback eForm, which allows members of the ANU community to have their say on issues that matter to them. The feedback provided via this form influences strategic planning for future service improvement projects. The SIG also partners with the Planning and Performance Measurement (PPM) Division in the management and analysis of the Administrative Services Survey.
UniForum benchmarking
ANU participates in the UniForum survey, which provides vital information on professional services that support research and teaching activities. UniForum enables ANU to compare our performance against other leading higher education institutions in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Canada.
The data gathered through this process informs Senior Management and Council on the University’s performance and helps identify priority areas for service improvement.
Program management
The SIG is responsible for maintaining the ANU Project Management Framework, which supports all projects within the University. The Programs and Engagement team is also developing Project Management training to support the development of project management skills across the ANU. As part of its program-support role, the team provides integral administrative assistance for the University's current projects.
