Research Funding and Development Team
The Research Funding and Development team is part of the Research Services Division and provides expert advice and support services to researchers and research management staff across the University. The Team advises academics and professional staff on funding opportunities, provides guidance on pre-award and post-award funding management and supports the University Research and Innovation Portfolio by managing and delivering internal and targeted funding opportunities. The team is the main University point of contact for a diverse range of research management operations, including the monitoring of research projects and compliance activities within the unit.
ANU Research Funding Portal
The ANU Funding Portal is a 'one-stop shop' available to all ANU researchers, and outlines what researchers need to consider or do at each stage of a research project. The portal also contains a range of current funding opportunities, fellowships, awards and prizes.
Applying from outside the University:
Researchers who wish to apply for funding through the ANU and are not University staff (or do not hold Honorary status), should notify the relevant College Research Office of their interest. It is advisable to make contact as far in advance as possible (ideally no later than 4 weeks before the funder submission deadline). For funding opportunities from small or international funders, please also include a web link or funding guidelines.
