Kathleen has over 18 years' experience in strategic marketing and communications in both the public and private sectors. She has spent more than six years in marketing and communication management roles in the higher education sector and has a focus on building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver targeted and effective communication and engagement strategies.
Prior to working at the University of Newcastle and The Australian National University, Kathleen's roles included: Communications Project Manager for the former Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS) and Marketing Manager for the Australian Medical Association (AMA). Kathleen's professional and innovative work has been recognised across two universities by Vice-Chancellors Awards in 2010 and 2012. Kathleen also has a postgraduate qualification in Marketing and Communications from the University of Canberra.
