With a background in Industrial Economics and Languages from the University of Nottingham, UK, Sarah has over a decade of experience in Higher Education, International Partnerships and Research Collaborations.
Sitting across the Research & Innovation and International portfolios, Sarah manages European-Australia research collaborations and has co-developed the University’s EU Strategy for Research and Innovation. Sarah also leads the Association of Commonwealth Universities – ACU Pacific Regional Office.
Sarah was previously the Science & Innovation Attaché at the British High Commission Canberra, where she was responsible for facilitating and developing UK-Australia strategic partnerships and research projects across university, industry and academia, with a focus on clean technologies, quantum technologies, agtech, space and health.
Fluent in 6 languages, Sarah grew up in Belgium and France and has lived, worked and studied in the UK, Germany, the USA, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
