Development for Leadership and Performance

The ANU values the contribution of staff who build on the distinctive excellence of our institution, both as Australia's national university and Australia's finest university. This is a status we achieve as a direct result of the quality and performance of our people. The Leadership & Performance Development team works collaboratively with local HR, supervisors and staff members to enable staff to perform at their best through the creation of an environment which develops and supports individuals to achieve their work goals and to reach their full career potential. 

This is through the provision of on-going staff development opportunities and an on-line performance and development process, thus maximising individuals’ contribution to the University. We offer the following staff development opportunities: Essentials of Successful Performance Management, Effective Performance Conversations, Managing Very Difficult Workplace Behaviour, and a Coaching for Excellence Leadership Program.
