Student Experience & Career Development
The Student Experience & Career Development (SECD) team provides a range of programs and services focusing on enabling students and recent graduates to learn and grow intellectually, socially and professionally during and after their time at ANU. We support students from the time they engage with ANU, transition in, through and out of the University.
Our Student Experience team is responsible for Orientation Week, the SET4ANU mentoring program, ANU+, the coursework student research conference and a range of co-curricular engagement activities.
Our Careers team facilitates student career development and ensures ANU students have the tools and knowledge to successfully navigate their future careers. Our range of services include running broad and tailored employability workshops for students, engaging with employers, career coaching and advice, employer visits and careers fairs.
SECD work with Colleges, Research Schools, Divisions and Residences across the University to support the University’s student experience and career development.
