Dr Joseph Hughes

Educational Design Manager

Joe's professional pathway has spanned academic research on photosynthetic energy conversion processes (ANU, Ecole Polytechnique, France and CEA Saclay, France), teaching in the secondary and tertiary education sectors, including mentoring HDR students and Postdoctoral Fellows, and more recently educational and academic development. Joe brings a holistic developmental approach to all his work. Praxis and collaborative learning - in particular how they intersect with technology-enhanced learning - are fundamental to his work practices and research interests. Joe also has a maturing interest in organisational learning and the role it can play in facilitating educational change.
Joe also likes to run. He is currently training for the Hume and Hovell 100 miler.
