ANU Online provides a range of learning environment services.
The University seeks to achieve global leadership in the provision of an outstanding educational experience via the use of transformational educational technologies. Under the direction of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), and in partnership with the Information Technology Services Division, the ANU Online Program is responsible for the enterprise-wide implementation of a technology platform to enhance teaching and learning across the University.
With Moodle as its platform, ANU Online will deliver the following Online Learning Environment elements:

- Ethical Treatment of Academic Materials
- Lecture Capture
- Content Repository for Education
- Learning Analytics
- Community Creation and Sustainability.
