Rebecca Smith

Events Officer

Rebecca works part time in the Corporate Communications and Engagement team and assists with the University’s major event planning, internal and external communications, and any other tasks that are needed, whilst finishing her last semester of a Bachelor of Commerce here at ANU.

Rebecca first joined the ANU Communications and Engagement Team in August 2020 as an intern, where she applied her marketing and project management skills to design a conference for the ANU Communicators Network. She then stayed on with the team to help plan and execute the 2020 Grand Graduation event and is now assisting with the team’s other major events such as the ANU Crawford Leadership Forum and the 75th Anniversary.

Her passions lie in project and stakeholder management and she is completing a Diploma of Project Management to enhance her knowledge and skills.
