Jarrah is a strategic communications and digital engagement professional with diverse experience in politics, and the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining ANU, Jarrah was Senior Communications Adviser to ACT Greens Minister Shane Rattenbury. In her early career, Jarrah cut her teeth at a high-pressure PR agency in Sydney, where she advised corporate and financial services clients. With an academic background in anthropology and commitment to social justice, she then worked as a communications manager at national not-for-profit Reconciliation Australia.

Jarrah joined ANU in April 2019 and is leading the development of social media and digital communications strategy within the Strategic Communications and Public Affairs unit.
